The National Women Entrepreneur Council invites registered women entrepreneurs to participate in its National Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 (NWEA 2026), aimed at recognising and promoting outstanding locally made products and services with strong market potential.
Objectives of the Award
● To recognise quality, creativity, and innovation in locally made products
● To encourage product improvement, branding, and market readiness
● To promote women entrepreneurship and economic empowerment
● To provide visibility and recognition to deserving women entrepreneurs
Product-Based Selection Criteria:
● Quality & standards
● Innovation and creativity
● Packaging & labelling (including compliance where applicable)
● Market readiness & commercial potential
● Value addition / uniqueness
● Compliance with health, safety, and legal standards (where relevant)
● Environmental sustainability
Who Can Apply? – Women entrepreneurs registered with NWEC
Prizes
● A prize of Rs 100,000 will be awarded to the Most Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur
● A prize of Rs. 50,000 will be awarded to the Overall Winner in each sector :- Agri Business, Textiles, Handicraft and Services.
Deadline for Registration on prescribed Application Form at latest by : Friday 20 February 2026 before 15 00 hrs
Products must be submitted at latest by : Thursday 04 March 2026 before 14 00 hrs
Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
Submission Details:
● Products to be submitted at: NWEC, Royal Road, Phoenix
● Brief description of products is required.
● Required documents: [e.g. BRN, Certificate of Incorporation, Food Handler’s Certificate, etc}
